In celebration of the opening of its “Leather Forever” exhibition in the United Kingdom, Hermes has created four one-of-a-kind versions of its Pass-Guide handbag representing England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales; a tribute to those countries. Christie’s, the world’s leading art business has started an online-auction of the handbags ending 31st May. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Royal Academy of Arts.All four bags have been hand-made using time-honoured techniques in the Herme’s workshops in Paris,where one craftsman has made each bag from start to finish.
